Sometimes there can be damage or infection that isn’t visible, such as when a child falls and bumps their mouth. It’s best to address it quickly so that we can address concerns before they escalate.
Get Care Within 24 Hours
If you’re in pain, contact us straightaway, we’re here for you even if that means working a little later or through our lunch break. We guarantee that we will see you within one business day of receiving your phone call at no extra cost. For emergencies during the evenings or weekends, feel free to send a message to us on Facebook and someone will get back to you as quickly as possible.
What to Do If You’re in Pain
Most tooth pain is caused by swelling. Taking an over-the-counter pain relief medication as directed by your GP or pharmacist is best. It can also be helpful to apply a cold compress to the side of your face for 20 minutes at a time. If gum swelling is present, rinse with a warm saltwater solution to help alleviate inflammation.
For urgent emergencies outside of business hours, go straight to the nearest emergency room.
What to Expect at Your Appointment
When you make an emergency appointment, we’ll book you for a consultation and X-ray, if needed. After our dentist evaluates your tooth we will discuss what treatment needs there are to choose from. We’ll provide you with all of the information you need to make an educated choice about your smile’s care. Our dentists will also break down the pricing of each procedure so that you can budget accordingly.
